Vacant NBA China Board of Director Position in South China

Jon Eivind Stø, the previous NBA China Board Member in South China has repatriated to Norway for his next mission.

As a veteran expat in China, Jon Eivind Stø has always been supportive to the Norwegian business community in China leveraging his rich experience. The Board of Directors would like to express the gratitude to Jon Eivind Stø for his contributions to NBA during his tenure of office.

As the latest Article of Association (aligned during the AGM) stated:

If a Director leaves the Board prior to the end of term, all members shall be informed of such departure and be given the possibility to within reasonable time to nominate an individual from its company. All such nominated individuals as well as those nominees not elected at the previous Annual General Meeting shall constitute the pool of individuals the members can vote for to replace the Director. (Article of Association, 3.4)

Therefore, the Board is actively looking for a suitable candidate to replace Jon Eivind Stø as NBA China Board Member representing South China.

Candidates eligible to be elected shall be able to represent South China Region based corporate or small business members (Article of Association, 3.2)
