Job Title: Business Development Manager, B2B

This position is included in the business development team, with responsibility for all processes within the assigned products and projects, with the intention to satisfy the customers' needs for service and quality when using or marketing company´s products, to establish and maintain Company’s marketing profile and activities, and to support business development and sales efforts and information flows.
The position reports p.t to the VP Business Development.
Actively being Company’s principle contact person to existing and potential new customers.
Prepare, facilitate and organize applicable customer visits all over China.
Development of assigned key B2B partner (OEM (bulk deals) and kit supply to partners), establishing a network within the key partner organisation within but not limited to, China, managing the relationship and maximise the sales output, in alignment with the VP Business Development and VP Sales & Marketing
Responsible for the sales achievements for the assigned products and defined partners/customers.
Lead commercial and outbound marketing efforts for assigned products (in order to achieve our short- and long-term sales growth targets).
Contribute to operate Company’s sales representative office located in China.
Manage the set expectations in the assigned project with targeted partners/customers, coordinating Company’s product development & manufacturing processes with the partners/customers staff, establishing and maintain a close relationship to partners/customers stakeholders, in alignment with the VP Business Development.
Contribute to product demand budgeting and lead sales forecasting efforts and track the performance against plan for the assigned products and targeted partners/customers.
Contribute to the development of Company´s strategic goals and quality objectives.
Maintain continuous lines of communication, keeping the VP Business Development informed of all business-critical issues.
Attend external conferences, customer and/or partner/customer meetings as required and in accordance with travel regulations.
Contribute to other assigned tasks.
Oversee, develop and execute on targeted partners and customers for assigned products. Contribute to the annual budgeting process for the defined products and partners/customers and track the performance versus goals on a monthly, quarterly, YTD and timely basis.
Provide applicable customer intelligence and market sensing (market and technology trends) to the commercial team.
Keep the commercial team organization updated with market intelligence.
Collaborate with Production, CSO, Clinical affairs and R&D department on all relevant development projects and Proof of Concept activities for assigned products.
Cooperate with commercial team and finance department in order to give quotations in the best way for the company interest.
Cooperate with the appointed product managers and the production department in providing updated sales forecasts for assigned products and targeted partners/customers in a timely fashion.
On demand lead customer-specific projects.
Keep cost control within the delegated and agreed budget.
Framework and guidelines
The work is controlled by the prevailing framework and guidelines for marketing, sales and business development operations, as well as Company's quality system.
Management and prioritization
Prioritize initiatives according to corporate plans and objectives as well as taking part and cross-functional projects.
Authority to plan, manage and execute on assigned tasks in alignment with the VP Business Development.
Oversee, direct and organize the work of the assigned products, assigned partners/customers and assigned projects within but not limited to China
Overall responsibility for the achievement of agreed KPI’s and quality objectives
Overall responsibility that all activities are performed according to the plans and Company´s quality system.
In cooperation with VP Business Development responsible to develop and achieve sales targets for assigned partners/customers and products.
In cooperation with the VP QA and Regulatory Affairs, product management support the fulfilment of all relevant regulatory requirements valid for the assigned products and projects.
Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality and profitability.
Accountability to timely issue customer quotations for assigned products to applicable OEM customers within the agreed territory.
Support the marketing department in customer surveys.
If necessary, assist with expertise and resources into other departments.
Attend and contribute to inter-departmental meetings and groups.
Work requires willingness to work flexible schedule and travel.
4.QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION
Master’s Degree/min. four years relevant studies or PhD level education within immunology, immunochemistry, biochemistry, microbiology or molecular biology.
A Master of Business Administration is an advantage
Practice and experience
Clinical diagnostics technologies knowledge; especially Immunology/Immunochemistry
Knowledge in GMP, ISO 9001/13485, NMPA guidelines for product registrations.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, fluent in Chinese and English
Minimum 3 years of experience from basic market activities within the In Vitro Diagnostics industry
Minimum 3 years of experience from business development/key account management/ B2B/OEM supply within the In Vitro Diagnostic Industry
Negotiation skills in an advantage
Network within IVD market is an advantage.
