Exploring Hydrogen Solutions & Collaboration

On April 25th, the "Fueling the Future: Exploring Hydrogen Solutions and Collaboration" seminar was held at the Beijing Daxing International Hydrogen Energy Demonstration Zone. The event was organized by NBA China, co-organized by Innovation Norway, and sponsored by Hexagon Purus. Over 90 professionals from the energy sector participated in the seminar, making it a successful platform for discussing the potential of hydrogen energy and collaboration opportunities in the field.

The conference was divided into three parts, with the first part consisting of presentations from various speakers. The conference began with opening remarks from Ren Juanjuan, the deputy director of the Beijing Daxing District Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, who highlighted the importance of exploring hydrogen solutions and collaboration for sustainable development. Urs Laeuppi, the board member of NBA China and the chief executive officer China & Southeast Asia of Hexagon Purus, also gave opening remarks, expressing his optimism about the potential for hydrogen energy in China.

During the presentations, Mr. Yu Min, the vice-president of Sinohytec, discussed the development and current status of hydrogen energy and fuel cell Industry in China, highlighted the tremendous potential of hydrogen energy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and mitigate climate change. Mr. Urs Laeuppi talked about the global hydrogen policy development and hydrogen deployment in China, and emphasized the need for collaboration between international companies and Chinese companies to accelerate the development of the hydrogen energy industry. Haifeng Wu, the vice president of Kongsberg Digital, spoke about digital disruption in energy and how technology is transforming the energy industry. Followed by Mr. Liu Xiaofeng, the head of DNV Smart Center China, presented the Hydrogen Forecast to 2050 and provided valuable insights into the future of the hydrogen energy industry. Jan-Henrik Wilhelm Kuhlefelt, the CEO of HydrogenPro. talked about HydrogenPro and its focus on large-scale green hydrogen. Finally, Bernhard Felizeter, the senior director of German Industry & Commerce Greater China, discussed China's hydrogen sector and opportunities for European companies. He emphasized the importance of collaboration between Chinese and European companies to accelerate the development of the hydrogen energy industry.

After the presentations, attendees had the opportunity to network and exchange ideas over a light working lunch. The conference also included a tour of the Daxing International Hydrogen Energy Demonstration Zone, which provided attendees with a glimpse of the latest developments in the hydrogen energy industry. The seminar concluded with a closing remark by Ole Henæs, the Asian Director of Innovation Norway.
